Dealer scratched dash

I took my 05 in for my dealer to do whatever he has to do to order a new Shaker 500 to replace the original which skips, etc.
Removing the radio apparently isn't as easy as it once was. Anyway, I now have a scratch on the panel above my glove box.
I had the upgraded instrument cluster installed a few weeks ago and they scratched my brake handle installing it.
They are going to replace the pieces.
My question is, is the Shaker 500 that hard to replace requiring the console, etc. to come out or is my dealer just careless?

I wouldn't know for sure, but my guess is careless. My dealer managed to scratch my paint and lose my aluminum door sill (before delivery). Strictly out of fear for more damage to my Jade, I still haven't had the strut popping addressed.

Hopefully they won't scratch something else when fixing the scratch they put in your dash. I feel for you...

yes, the console has to come out....its a PITA, and if they are going to replace the items without a fuss, be glad. i had my exhaust damaged (along with a few other things), and took a few days of firm politeness to get them to replace it for me. its been over a week now, and have heard nothing form them. when i ordered the exhaust i had it in a few days.....i better call the dealer again to check up on it.....

It's all very frustrating to say the least. My dealer has always been great to deal with, but I am a perfectionist and scratches drive me crazy.
