I was compounding and polishing my car today and ended up taking off the spoiler to do the deck lid. I snapped a few crappy pictures with the wing off, and can't decide what looks better. My girlfriend says the car looks 'plain' without the wing, but she drives a Neon, so her opinion in this has little weight One thing that pissed me off was one of the wing's mounts had broken off of the plastic, and was letting that corner bounce and vibrate around causing a nice mark in the paint. What do you think, :SNSign:?

And with the spoiler.

And a front shot for the hell of it. I need a paint job so bad

Damn i love your car dude. The stance with those wheels and color are perfect. I think it looks bad ass wingless. If my decklid was in better shape id go wingless too.

IMO wingless and DD wheels is a very clean look when the holes are filled/repainted. I go back and forth with this myself for my car.

I have to say....the wingless look is very nice on your stang! I like the wings on 01-04 stangs, but I can say from personal experience on the road I notice a wingless stang more because it immediately sticks out as being "different". Of course so does a stang with a '00 cobra R wing! But anyways, nice deep dish wheels! and i like the darkened tailights too! and the mach 1 delete....hell, your car's got it's own personality going man! I vote wingless!

I prefer winged...and just IMO..you may want to fill in the holes where the exhaust pipes used to go...if you decide to stay wingless and get a bodyshop to fill in the spoiler holes...

Nice ride..

Thanks guys, I think wingless will be the ultimate decision for me

I plan on getting the holes filled and the rear center part painted gloss black along with the tails, since that's all vinyl back there. I'm also hunting around for a cheap v6 bumper, or some of those nice Roush covers for the cutouts. Only thing left after that would be having the rear sidemarkers tinted or filled in, and having the 3rd light tinted.

for some reason after seeing it without the wing, the wing looks out of place in the bottom pics.

I say keep it wingless, plug the holes with the plastic plugs from home depot / Lowe's, drive it for a wile and see if it grows on you. if not no harm pull the plugs and put the wing back on.

Oh, it rides like ass. The rears are now C springs with a coil off and the adjustable arms dropped a bit, and the fronts are stockers with one off and no isolators. It launches really nice though!

Also Bullitt, I forgot about that wing! I'll have to find some pictures of one on a Sonic Blue for reference. I've been using Laser's Cobra as a reference for the 03 wing for a while now
