does anyone know where i can find out how to decipher a vin number on a 2003 mustang gt? i was just curious to find out what all it means. thanks for the help.

I ran my VIN through there, because I'm kinda' curious what all the info means. It came up "unknown" completely .... giving me absolutely no info what so ever. Kinda' funny .. its Ford's website but my Ford car's VIN doesn't come up.


My insurance company has a breakdown in my booklet they give me, and I've tried to decifer it with that ... doesn't work. Most of the letters in my vin aren't even listed in the booklet. Confusing.

they want money to give me the production number of my car- any other suggustions?
