Wassup everyone, im new to the forum and this is my first thread.

Im looking to buy a mustang but I cant decide. I wanna get a used one. Probably years 96-00. Can you guys help me out and tell me which one has the best stock parts in it. Im hoping to put a supercharger in the one I buy(with internal mods as well) and I want to know which model year GT or Cobra will be best. THX

99+ GT

the 96-98 ones have less horsepower than the 99+'s due to the design of the heads. and the body styling is different on 99+'s. but you can make any car fast, its all up to you as to what bodystyle you prefer. if you do get a pre 99 model mustang, one of the most popular mods is a PI headswap, where you get the heads off a 99+ and that boosts your horsepower up to the 99+ levels and a bit beyond.
the stock internals will handle boost well, up to at least 9lbs i believe, and its all about the tune with a supercharger. if you get a safe tune you'll last longer.
