I need some help deciding whether I should sell my Magnaflow cb & catted x and get Bassani's cb & catted x..........if anyone has heard both I would appreciate some input. Which sounds better (majority seems to say Bassani, which will be louder...less is better for me, will Bassani's baffles reduce the drone I currently have with my Maggie setup...I have a vert so I believes that makes it worse). Any advise/info. would be greatly appreciated....I'm torn!

p.s. Price isn't necessarily a factor as I'm sure I can sell my Magnaflow setup.

Yeah...I'm deciding between buying that or keeping my Magnaflow setup.

I would keep the Magnaflow set up because they are both straight
through design set up's! It's your choice though the best of luck
to you whatever you decide to go with!

I have bassani catted x and cat back, all my friends don't like riding in the back seat on the freeway cuz of the drone. There is no drone if u go over 80 or under 65 though lol. I've never tried the baffles though, louder the better its a mustang

My first stang was a 5.0 with off road h-pipe and flowmasters. The bassani setup on the cobra sounds really good but not quite so loud as the 5.0. The flowmasters were like a sweet dragster sound that thundered till redline. The bassani is more exotic and high pitched sounding. Less drone on the bassani for sure but still there at that droning rpm on any stang. Listen to them all at www.mustangexhaust.com

Mick, your money is your money but why would you go spend another 1k + on a completely new exhaust set-up when you already have one of the best?
The Magnaflow set-up rocks. I would save that money and put it towards new HE, pulley set(if warranty is not an issue)tint, and use the extra for gas money. Just my .02

Yeah, I know....this crack they call COBRA is killing my brain! I'm all over the place....I am sticking with my Maggie setup (you never truely know how your car sounds until you are outside of it and someone else is driving it.....sounds great!). While you mentioned it....I am in the process of picking out pulleys...think I am going with Billetflow....2.93 and either 100mm idler alone or all the idlers. I don't think I will need a HE yet.....let me know what you think on the pulleys. Doug @ Billetflow and UM feel that is the best for what I want to do!!

Billetflow stuff is excellent. Did you go with the DUB set-up? I think if I go the pulley route it will be the exact same set-up. May want to upgrade to the non-slip belt also. I think the 2.93 pulley will net excellent gains plus still be on the safe side, if there is even such a thing. This pulley swap keeps looking better every single day. With a custom tune from James the thing should be an animal. Well, like it's not already.

Isn't DUB South Florida Pulley's version....or does Billetflow have one also?? Did not order anything yet...will decide shortly! Who makes a non-slip belt??
