hey guys im looking for a wingless decklid to put on my cobra! i checked on the trader here and ebay as well as stangparts.com and no good! anyone happen to have one off their V6 for sale/trade? im looking for laser red!

WHAT WHY? Looks better with it but thats just what I think. And by deck lid you mean trunk? If so a body shop can take it off for halfway cheap kembles is a good I can call them up to see if I can get a better price than you since I send car there all the time if youd like

I agree! I'm taking my wing off my Cobra. It looks WAY tougher without the wing and with fat tires.

Well this maybe be BS but a couple of my dumbazz budies from back home say you pick up 1 MPH in the 1/4 when you take the wing off. All the mustangs Ive ever had were SN95 so without the wing it looks like a base GT or even worse a 6er alot of people dont like them though

Yeah the stock cobra wing does take a lil off the mile in the 1/4 but i say go with an s281.

are you gonna take off all your emblems and get you some dumps so people cant see the tail pipes? well I guess the tail pipes dosent matter to most people a mustang is a mustang. Theres a 6er at McDes on 100th st that has cobra emblems on it and I saw a fake saleen on I-5 last week it was a 6er as well used freaken mail box stickers to write saleen on the side of his car LOL. but sleepers are kool

I actually did seriously think about just running single exhaust from the turbo. It ended up easier to just make it run into a factory style cat-back though.

Stock 94+ mustangs wings = factory rice lol.

That was one of the first things to go on the 01GT.

Just last week the stock hood with the stupid fake scoop went bye bye in favor or a clean 99 cobra hood.

Definition of rice = installation of parts that don't do nothing.

Factory ford mustang wing = do nothing but create wind resisitance and slows the car down. lol it's not even a good kind of drag. Therefore the part was installed for looks.

i personally like the clean look without a wing...i dont mind drag wings though, they are awesome but i wouldnt drive down the street with one.

my RX8 has a wing on it (factory wing so its not ghey like the aftermarket ones) and i told my wife i didnt want one on there when we originally got the car. she wanted it on there so im stuck with it. its not a bad wing or anything, its low profile and isnt higher than the roof.
