the T80 is the body type. I have to assume that it is a mustang, T82 is GT. In recent years, the 6cyl was 2 numbers less (i think) meaning that it is a 6 cyl mustang. Specifically, the N is the engine code. H is for the V8 engine. N must be V6.
For a for sure breakdown, go to the link below and put in the entire 17 digit vin number. It will give you a breakdown of the code that will be certain. I am just guessing.
There was a pretty useful VIN thread in here some months ago, don't remember the title. Try searching 'vin'. It broke the numbers down to the extent of telling the production number of the MY (I think).
Under normal circumstances it's probably accurate to within a month.
They are trying to group similar cars together, but not so many they run out of a certain part. That's where the order of the numbers can get really screwed up. If they serialize a car that gets option X and then before it gets scheduled to be built, they run out of the parts for that option, the car gets put on material hold. It could stay there for months. So if it was serial # 000123, it could be built 2 months after serial #'s 000122 & even 3 months after # 000124.
