Ok, I tried posting a similar question in Talk, but I really was not getting any response. I was considering the Black Bullitts and then I saw these AFS Mach1 Mac Black deep dish wheels. I would like to hear what you all think would look best on my DSG Vert. I am thinking the Mach1's would ad more contrast and not be so dark against my car compared to the Bullitts.

Mach1 Mac Black: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...6483&item=7979292701&sspagename=rvi:1:2v_home

Black Bullitts: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...6483&item=7978502607&sspagename=rvi:1:2v_home

EDIT: I purchased the AFS Black Bullitts with 315/35's...They even shipped them same day I ordered. Should be here early next week

there's a mach 1 around my town with some 18" black mach 1 style wheels and they look awful. That's my opinion tho. I have seen a set of the 18" black bullit wheels and before i saw them in person i hated them, but i saw them and i thought they looked really good, they made it look a lot meaner than the factory style bullit wheels.. i would go with the black bullits, but that's me

I thought about 18's, but decided to stick with 17"s. I think the FR500's are awesome, but would probably go with the Anthracites on my car. When it comes to Bullitt wheels, I want something different than what most stock GT's already have.

Deep dish 10.5 bullits look really cool. I almost got em. I saw a guy with them and the deep dish really does it.

I like the Bullits. Never been a fan of the Mach 1 wheels, although the deep dish helps alot.
Heres a pic of mine, not black but you get the idea.

The chrome Y2K Cobra rims really bring out DSG and Mineral Grey, but they are a little expensive. The 03 Cobra rim would look good also. If you want black I would say FR500 then Bullitt. The Mach1 rims don't even look good on Mach1s though the deep dish does help a lot.

Thanks for the reply's everyone, I decided and ordered the Black Bullitts My wife photochopped some onto a picture of my car and it looked really good. She even stated it looked better than she thought it would. I will post some pics in a week or so when they come in.

You might want to think about who you buy your Bullitts from. Wheel Replicas are the first people to make the deep dish ones, but now AFS also makes them. Nobody knows for sure yet, but the AFS kinda look like they have a smaller lip. If they ARE the same size lip, Wheel Replicas has a patent on their wheel and they can sue for that.

I did purchase the AFS ones. If it does have a smaller lip that is fine with with me. I would actually prefer a slightly smaller lip similar to the lip on the 18"s.

I personally think the black deep dish bullits would look better on your car.
