Here are the bushing installation instructions quoted from Global West "To install the bushings remove the small white thrust washers and slide the steel pin out of the bushings. Install the grease fitting into the Del A Lum bushing. Lube the spring eye to facilitate pressing in the bushing. Press the bushing in from the outboard side of the spring and position the grease fitting tpwards the 7 o'clock position on the passenger side, and the 5 o'clock position on the drivers side. Press the bushing in until the grease fitting just touches the leaf spring".
Global West's website has a separate part number for the stock '65-'66 leafsprings, but the '67-'73' part fits all after market rear leafsprings. Your 4.5 leafs should fall into the after market catagory.
They should fit...I bought my Fastback with 5-leaf Global West rear leafs and Del-A-Lum bushings. I wanted different springs, so I just got a set of reverse-eye 4.5 leafs, and the Del-A-Lums fit right in.
How is the ride with these installed. Should I install these or just keep the rubber bushings in? It's not my daily but I dont want to feel every leaf on the pavement either.
i would think the ride might actually be a bit better since the Del-A-Lums won't bind like the stock rubber bushings will. you might notice it being a bit stiffer but overall ride quality will probably be better
