Densecharger install with pics & a ??

Ok you will see in the pic its a cover plate but you have to drill 3 holes for this
Im thinking of not puting it on Im guessing its more for looks.





in this one you can see the place for the cover

Why would you not put it on? I know it is also for looks but I would think that it would help keep the engine from ingesting hot air.

see my car is #49 of 50 thats why I didnt really want to do it but F it

I've had the same cold air setup as you from densecharger. That cover plate is not for looks believe me. You need to mount that cover plate with the 3 holes and use the 2 screws to hold the fenderwell pipe to the maf to fenderwell plate. It keeps everything stationary.

I didn't mount the cover plate and my fenderwell pipe kept coming undone. Also I eventually beat the k&n air filter to the amount the air filter is not usable anymore.

You'll save yourself a new air filter by doing it, and problems with the cold air coming undone.

I also have the densecharger. Sweet, and the best ever CAI.

& I went on & got the balls up to drill the 3 holes now to get the pulley put on & hit the dyno March 6th at the dyno day in NC at Custom Performance
