detriot trutrac problem...

i attempted the install of a detriot trutrac today in my 8" and i ran into a problem.. i pulled the carrier bearings off the existing carrier and they wouldnt fit onto the tru trac. anybody else run into this? are there different sized bearings i can get? any help please. thanks

the part number on the tru trac matches the packing slip for the ford 8" 28spline

Woah, you were able to find a trutrac for an 8"? Where did you get it? I thought they were only for 9" and 8.8"?

drivetrain specialists.com
i first called detriot and they said they made one and gave me a list of places to get it.

ahh yes...thanks man...this dealer actually lists that you need different bearings.
