Well, looks like I'll just have to pop for a new diff. (9 inch in F100)

Question 1? Is there any diffrence other than 40.00 between a Ford Racing and a Summit Detroit Locker? :shrug:

Question 2? Which would be better, a True trac (Torque Biasing, Limited Slip) or the Detroit. They are for all practical purposes the same price. I don't drag race, I do drive it hard. I do a fair amount of around town in rain (snow is uncommon, maybe once every 2 years.) My primary concern is mud and boat ramps. The truck is pretty loud, so I don't think the noise of the Locker is a concern.
