I plan on buying some cams very shortly and I want either the detroit rockers or the frpp hotrods. They seems like very similar cams but want feedback from people who have them. I would like to know of any hp gains, any torque loss , drivibility issues and definatly the sound. Some have said the hotrods are louder than the detroit rockers. My gt is an auto btw. So if you could let me know how your experiences have been with them would be very much appreciated! also i have seen other forums talking about the same topic, but they date back atleast a yr or two, but I would like hear more recent feedback, since the boths cams have been out for awhile.

My buddy has the Hotrods, they sound siiiiick! From what i can tell id say he lost top end hp but picked up more tq, but i dnt get the pleasure of driving it too often....As far as the others, ive not experienced them so cant compare the two....

well atleast you get to choose....I cant even save up enough money to buy the ducktail for 230 that I want. theyre both badass. just depends on your preference. I believe fords is a lot more tone "e" and the detroit is less but more badass.

yea those ducktail spoilers are nice. its winter where im at, so right now i got time to stock pile parts. so it gives me time to make the right choice. but the ford seem(atleast from what i can tell from you tube) to have better tone, but brenspeed claims like 40 hp with an jlt intake. but i mean its one thing a company saying this is what you can get and a customer saying what he actually got.

Ya Im eventually going to get the frpp because of the tone.."hot rod" even though I want a cruiser car. I love the rasp of the Fords. but I belive the brenspeeds are more like the old school stock muscle. Ive tried to compare brenspeeds to my dads 72 Nova and 78 trans am and they pretty much sound the same. so its either classic sound with brenspeed or more hot rod with the frpp as they have in the name.
