No. You don't need to change the setting for the 315's
I would return the stock tune and reset all the paramaters and start all over.
Maybe your needle was put in the wrong spot. Was the guage overlay ever changed?

i also tried to bump it up to the highest gear it would go and it still didnt change 10mph off..

i got it thanks.. my problem was i was trying to change it under the factory hp tune and the gear setting won't accept from that tune..

This is a known issue. I ran into the same problem when I went back to my factory tune to run nitrous but also still wanted my speedo corrected for 3.73 gears. Chris Johnson at Diablo was a huge help. I restored my factory tune, made my modifications and saved and uploaded it into the car. The other changes took - the traction control, rear O2's off, rev limiter raised, etc, but the speedo correction did not.) I then used DSDownloader to download my tune from my Predator to my PC, then emailed the tune to Chris. He quickly 'fixed' it and sent it back to me the same day, then I was able to install that tune and all is now well. Great customer service. Here's the thread and his email address. http://www.modularfords.com/forums/showthread.php?t=92314 :hail2:
