I just installed the Performance Tune on my DiabloSport Predator for my 2003 Auto. V6, and damn its awsome. I feel some more power at my disposal, and my tires are chirping when at WOT going into second. I've gunned my car plenty of times and thats never happened. I'm probably not going to see any increase in MPG cause I've been gunning it left and right here. Haha.

Our cars are equipped with sensor that monitors detonation, right? I was really kinda nervous about installing the tune before hand and I just dont want to hurt my car in anyway.

Don't worry about ti detonating, it's all good. have fun with it... change around some of the paramaters, that'll make it even more interesting.

You do not have a sensor that monitors detonation, other than your ears. If you are using 93 octane gas you will be fine.

Sweeeeeeet.

If I change the shift pressure firmer does that increase the chance of failure in the future? Some people have told me that it extends the life of the transmission when you have quicker firmer shifts, but other people have said the opposite.

I have a eBay Cold Air Intake and a Borla Side Exit Exhuast already on the car. I also have in my possession waiting to be put on; Underdrive Pulleys and a 1/2 Shafted Ported/Polished Throttlebody.

-Also-

Since most people recommend that when put a new mod on your car that you unplug the battery to reset the computer, shoud I uninstall the Diablo tune, reinstall the factory tune, unplug the battery, and then reinstall the Diablo tune, or is this unnecessary?

There is never any need to uninstall the Diablo tune and reload the factory tune unless you are going in for warranty service, want a baseline dyno run, or want to run 87 octane gas.

What is the safest I could possibly extend the rev limiters for my car for each gear? I've seen people put 1st gear up to 6250, and so (probably not the best idea) Should I waste my time or should I just leave it at stock?

Also, 'Torque Modulation', I read the manual and I'm not really sure what is really does and if it is worth messing with? Anyone have any experience with that?

I don't personally use a Predator with an automatic transmission but others have posted they liked the results of turning the torque modulation "off". I left the rev and speed limiter at the stock setting on my car.

Here is an explanation of TQ modulation from another site I am a member of:
Torque modulation is the amount of timing retard at WOT shifts. I tried both, if torque modulation is left on or "0", the timing will retard to about 10 degrees when shifting. You can feel this. If set off, or "100" 100% of timing will remain when the trans shifts. In this setting, the car pulls right through the rpm range when shifting between gears. The shift pressure merely adjust firmness or how hard you want the transmission to shift.

I have my Torque Mod at 100%. It makes the shifts harder.

Alright cool. The "custom tunes" are the same thing that you get if you were going to order a chip from DiabloSport and you tell them what you have done to the car?, and you basically just download it from them?

No. A custom tune goes beyond telling them what you have done to the car. It normally requires dyno information from your vehicle along with some datalogging with the Predator while on the dyno.
