My buddy has a DiabloSport chip he is not using and I was wondering if there would be any point in me installing it in my car. He has an 02 GT and I have an 03 GT. I was wondering if the chip is specific to his computer, or if the difference in model year would matter. Thanks.

P.S. - I currently have a tank 3/4 full of 87. Should I get some octane booster before I install it?

Bump..sorry to be a pain, but I'm going to do the install in about 15 minutes and just wondering if it would be a waste of time. Thanks!

Waste of time, your computers need to have the same code.

I think they need to be custom burned with your VIN.

Needs to be reflashed under you computer code.

I yielded 8 8RWHP - 14RW Feet Pounds of TQ NA.
