The 68 Firebird didnt sell. And $42K reserve is cheap. That car is near mint, full interior, and running mid 9's N/A takes some cash.

I stopped watching Pinks after about the fifth episode. Everyone on that show's a friggin' crybaby, Rich Christiansen is a wannabe toughguy, and the races are a friggin' joke 9 times outta 10. It's always some assclown bringing an outrageously powerful beast to the track against some other guy who's ridiculously outclassed, and the assclown wants to bawl and sob about all sorts of conditions and extra lengths and such so he can sandbag it once or twice and then stomp the crap outta the other guy 'till the end.

The last one I saw with the fully "race spec" Honda Civic going against what I think was a TransAm (been a couple months, I forget) just about made me want to vomit. "Wahhhh! My engine's knocking! I need 15 lengths! Wahhhh, he's gotta unhook his bottle! Wahhhh!" Jesus jumpin' on a pogo stick, whatever happened to two dudes just taking their cars out on a sectioned-off straightaway length of highway and mashing the gas when a chick drops her scarf? If they're gonna play it off as street racing, do it on a street (with traffic blocked off and proper emergency personnel on hand, of course); if they're gonna do it on a track, use the frickin' starter tree and tell Rich to quit looking like he's trying to pinch a loaf when he's pointing at them to start.
