did i install my CCplates right PICS ?

Those are kind of small pictures but yeah, they look fine to me. The caster adjustment is weird but I'm sure it's fine. Are you able to get your front end aligned correctly?

I have MM C/C plates so UPR are not totally familiar to me BUT in all three pictures it looks like he's showing us the driver's side strut tower. The picture is small but to me it looks like that one is lined up correctly to the side of the engine bay. The adjustment looks to be pulled to the inside adjusting camber... so I don't see anything wrong...

BUT, not to say I'm not wrong. Just stating my observation. :flag:

But if 1low03GT has or has messed with those plates, I'm sure he knows better than me. For some reason I can't see the pdf. I'd go with 03's opinion over mine. I'll shut up unless they are Maximum Motorsport 4 bolt plates... Sorry. :(

I can't see the pdf, I blame this on MS. I look forward to the first contender for MS OS, Google. I'm sure it will be better than MS but still screwed.

Next time show us better pictures and each strut tower...

My MM C/C plates... the best.

They are installed wrong, you have the "left" one on the right tower, and you have the "right" one on the left tower, and both are facing the wrong way.
Here is the instructions to properly install them.;)
Look at the red writting,it tells you which side is which. nice:

Mounted Wrong. Look at the slots in the picture, they are going side to side. Instruction show the slots going front to back.

Actually they are correct, the picture shows the correct installation of the CC plates.

They are wrong. ;)
Using one of his pics i labelled everything according to the UPR instructions.:nice:
F in red for fron,P.S in yellow for passenger side, and pink to show that the slots are going the wrong way as they are side to side, and should be front to back.

See upr's instructions here blelow.

I correct myself, they are wrong, the one showed on your drivers side needs to be turned clockwise 90 degrees and mounted on the other (the passenger side) strut tower.

I was kind of looking at it quick. I was under the influence of a double at work and Captain and Coke working its way through my typing.

I too use M&M C&C plates, they are the best in my opinion.
A buddy of mine has the UPR C&C plates,so i have seen how they are installed, and i confirmed that with the instructions right off of UPR's site.:nice:

god dammit ****ing horse **** i hate my ****ing life
i striped the passenger side strut shift it took me 3 days and 14 trips to the tool store to get that ****ing strut nut on i was wondering why i couldn't take all the negative camber out good thing im off the next 2 days ima go another 12rounds with those plates tomorrow

but i really do thank all of u for educating me on this matter also sorry for the poor picks:shrug::Damnit::cry::bang:

What's weird is, is that the caster looks like it has fine tune adjustments and the camber has only a two step adjustment... that's where it threw me. You would want the "fine tune" adjustment on the Camber not the Caster...!!!!?

I love my MM C/C plates.

Don't worry about it too much, I almost did the same thing with mine. I actually had the driver's side on like that, and was working on the passenger's when I just looked over, and thought about the way the adjustment works, and figured out that it was wrong.

I'm swapping them out when I change my struts though, going with the MM or J&M pieces.

If that manual is correct then those plates are pure crap.

If you understand anything about Caster or Camber, the Caster is a front/rear adjustment of your wheels that shouldn't really be an issue. Camber is the side to side tilt that is what gives you traction and also controls wear on your tires. You need to be able to adjust your Camber for optimum tire tilt for traction and alignment. Those plates by reason of that spec sheet is absolutely backwards. WTF??

While I agree that the plates aren't the best, the way you adjust camber on them actually works. The factory holes are slotted for adjustment, and using the lower slots on mine, my alignment on my car was able to be brought back into specs easily.
