Did This Polar Freeze Freeze My Fuel Pump?

I'm well aware gasoline doesn't freeze, but my 89 GT started up a little over a week or so ago (It lives in the unheated garage attached to my house) and when I went to start it today it wouldn't start. It just kept cranking. I pressed the gas pedal once. Still nothing. Turned the key back, than on again. A ha. I don't hear the fuel pump. I don't smell gas from pumping the gas pedal. Can the pump seize from extreme cold? What things can I try to get the fuel pump operational before I decide it needs a new one? Oh, a fella by the name of Childers, Karl Childers, told me to see if it had any gas in it. It does. Stay warm guys.

Well, pumping the gas pedal only opens and closes the throttle body, so you aren't going to get a gas smell from that.
Find your fuel pump relay (i know in my 90 its under the drivers seat, but not all years are the same), turn the key to the on position while holding the relay in your hand, you should feel it click.
If it clicks, it's probably the pump.
If not, the problem is the relay or before it.

I doubt the pump froze from the cold, but i don't truly know.
Although if it was frozen and trying to turn on, i'd suspect the fuse would blow.

Thanks, I'll check that out this weekend. It's supposed to be a balmy 55 degrees on Saturday.
