Didn't trade the stang for the prelude

are you sure? you won't have half as many people wanting to race a slower car than their's in the stang as you would in teh 'lude.

just be sure u wanna keep the stang, because compared to those hondaz, these are total crap buckets.... who needs 4 more cylinders when you got V-TAK

oh btw... this is definitely tech... good job

Put some 6:13 gears in the rear and cover the thing in Type R stickers. Oh and don't forget this is a mustang your driving so be carfull they have alot of power and I wouldn't want to see you spin out of controll because you have so much power you don't know how to handle it. Oh and you should get some pollished billet muffler berrings with atomatic oil injectors that squirt oil in front of your rear tires when you line up at the tree so you get a good launch. Another good tip is to armourall your steering wheel.

no, he's serious. It's in your passenger side fenderwell.

and btw, you better bend over and lube up good because you're gonna get reemed out in this thread which will soon become numerous pages long...

Not to piss anyone off, and i hate ricers as much as the next guy. If the prelude was the V-TEC with the DOHC H22 block, it would smoke any 5.0 stock vs stock. If you ever want to see what some of those i4's will do, take a drive in a Acura RSX Type S. A RSX-S will smoke the **** out of any stock 5.0 and make you cry.

The 4th gen. Prelude with the H22 runs roughly 15.3 in the quarter. It isn't fast unless you do major work (to run 9 psi of boost you need to resleeve the block). Granted, once you have dumped a wad of cash into your H22 and it has a lot of power, you won't ever get the necessary traction to go from a stop. My best friend is a Prelude troll (he has 3rd gens) and he's priced out a decent H22. It ain't cheap to go big, but with all bolt ons you may get 250 fwhp. Also, an RSX Type-S is around 15.0 too..a good driver in both cars (both manual) will probably have the 5.0 come out the winner. I know the K20A is an absolutely amazing engine, but as with the H22, mods are $$$.
