difference - 79 and 95 headers

Anybody know the difference from 79 and 95 5.0-headers? I have mount the 79 headers on my 95 GT with a SC application. But, i have heating problems with and without supercharger. Results the problem from the headers?

I believe the only difference between 79 and 95 headers is that the 94/95 had the EGR tube port on them. What kind of heating problem do you have? It may be that the old headers are too restrictive.

didnt know 79s had headers. Mine has a manifold that doesnt even look close to a header. 87 i think is when they started with headers. dunno....

Yeah, that's right. They switched from logs to tubulars starting with 86 or 87. Not sure cuz 86 was the first year for SEFI.

Maybe he means a set of headers for a 79..........Although the aftermarket headers will fit any fox.

'85 was the first year for headers...but they used a flapper valve in one of the headers to help warm the motor up.

'86 was the first hear for the headers we all know
