Today i got in the stang and the left front seat bracket broke. I went to ford and they said i have to replace the whole power seat assembly and they said that costs 250. I dont have enough cash to pay for the whole thing. Can i convert the seats into a manual instead of power. I assume it should just be a direct fit. Please let me know.

they are a direct fit. i know because i just took out my stock seats and adpated x2c seats to the stock brackets. im probably going to try and find a manual bracket so that i have two adjustable seats. the power seat assembly is also much heavier than a manual setup.
