Difference In Engines

Need to know if 88-95 Highway Patrol Mustangs had the same 5.0 engine as in private citizens Mustangs, i know they where items such as hoses, keys, floors etc, but were mechanicals the same

^ this. calibrated speedos, oil coolers, better clutch fan and stuff but the engine itself identical.

Ford just made the subsystems a bit beefier. Upgraded alternator, heavier duty cooling system, added an oil cooler to the engine.

But, mechanically it's the same ~225HP/300TQ motor as a civilian Mustang

Thank You, heard a bench racer say they had 347, which i think is imposible since strokers started getting built around 1999-2000, and where why to expensive for the common enthusiast at that time
