ha, me and my buddy decided to mix some hdr and photoshop. This is what we got feel free to comment.

nice pics, but why does it look like you just drove through 300 miles of salty roads? im scared of da hoodgapster.

not quite sure what your talking about. The HDR effect kinda put some of those black spots on my car, makes it look like the paint is f'ed up, but goes along with the effect, I like the sky

yea its getting worse everytime I drive it soon im going to go out and its going to swallow me.

i have noticed it makes white cars look grey


thats why i dont post to many of my stang with the hdr tech. what tool did yall use on the hood to make it slightly see thru? i use paintshop pro similar to photoshop but cheaper

Here is the first picture UNTOUCHED, except for resized, the front wheels are dirty yes, but other then that the car is not filthy! What pictures do you guys see the car filthy in?

And doing this is not hard at all. All you need is an basic camera, from your handheld digi to a 1k slr, if you can get one picture at 3 different exposures you can do this.

Set up a tripod, change your settings to a long exposure, normal exposure, and short exposure, to get a bright, normal, and dark picture, of the same picture. Then do the same thing with the hood up. Download photomatrix, make an hdr of the first pic, make an hdr of the second to get the color effects, then in photoshop cut out the engine, and paste it into the pic with the hood closed, then lower the opacity, erase some of the outside with a low opacity, sharpen the pic, resize it, and your done!
