I have a 99 gt 4.6 and I'm having trouble removing oil dipstick. I've already unbolted the one bolt but can't get a good spot to pull it out of the oil pan. Tried wiggling and pulling upwards not happening. Any ideas from someone who has removed one before ????

Sometimes it helps loosening or removing the motor mount on that side (Which is a feat in itself).

Thanks for the quick response. I ended up getting it a second ago with vice grips from under the car and just muscling it out.

When reinstalling don't forget to check out the o ring attached. Odds are it got shredded during removal.

Lube it before reinstalling too with some oil or something. You'll thank me later lol.
