Direct fit fuel pump for 98 gt?

hey guys do any of you guys know of any fuel pumps that are direct replacements for the stock one? Ive heard the vortech 255lph pump is but im not sure....I need your help guys please....let me know...thanks

A lot of people use the Focus pump.

You can use the Vortech Pump. And If needed just hook up a BAP, or some similar device.

so the vortech pump works in my stock fuel bucket right? and then if i need more output then I can use a BAP

Walbro 255 will fit for sure...I'm not sure if the BAP will work on your return style system though...

walbro pump sucks thats what i have now and i had to mod and ruin my fuel bucket to get that damn pump to fit and it still doesnt work right so im trying to find one that doesnt require all the modding to get it to work...the 98's have a different intank setup than 96-97 models do...so im stuck..

If I am not mistaken, the GSS340 is a direct replacment for the 98. I seem to remember when I switched to return system on my 99, we used a 98 tank and GSS340 and did not have to hack up the basket.

use holley pumps they are so good if you are N/A get 190LP
H and power adders get 255LPH
