I am looking to flush specifically the cooling and power steering fluids soon in my car. It's a 96 Cobra and probably hasn't had either done in a while. I've read that the cooling is as simple as draining the overflow and radiator but then that's where I have seen mixed info. Some have said to run water through it with the motor running? Is there any specific details on this? Also, how do you go about 'burbing' the system?

On the power steering fluid the only threads I have seen is that someone just got a turkey baster and pulled old fluid out the top end, drove around a little bit and pulled more fluid. Put new fluid in and repeated this until the fluid was clear again. Is that the best way to go about doing it or some other? Thanks for the help!

Don't know about power steering fluid. But you are correct on radiator fluid. Drain the old stuff, stick a hose in the filler cap and turn on the water and run the engine with the hose running and let it drain. After probably a minute or so turn the engine off and let the remaining water drain out. Put the drain plug back and fill up with fluid.
