dirve shaft removal ? howto?

I am in the process of removing my drive shaft, trans, and motor. right nopw i need to know how to remove the driveshaft, any other help or pointers would be great too,

Unbolt the 4 bolts to the diff (12mm 12pt) and after that it slides off the tranny and makes a mess everywhere. The bolts are loctited in there so they're kinda hard to get off but with a 12mm wrench and a hammer i got all mine off in like 10 minutes.

if your having trouble getting the driveshaft off, i fear for you doing the rest of the swap... pick up a chiltons from your local parts store it be quite useful to you in this venture seing as how it tells you how to take everyhing apart and put it back together

To get the 4 bolts off the diff end, I recommend using a torch. Those bolts were put in with the Red Loctite. The red stuff isn't supposed to release until you heat it up to approx 450 degrees. I used a torch on the bolts first, and they cracked loose with no problems. Just don't leave the torch on it for too long so you don't ruin the seal on the diff. About 20 secs should do it.
