Disassembly of Alternator

Without damaging the alternator, I would like to take it a part and paint the housing. The alternator is a 130 amp unit for of a 2004 4.6l SOHC engine. I'm building this engine (1996 GT 4.6l SOHC) with PI heads and intake. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

I wish I could give you some tips, but I can't help you on this one. That engine is looking pretty good though. Good work!

They are not real hard to take apart, just be careful. You need to remove that big nut on the pully. Then take the housing bolts off and I think you may need to take that big wire connector nut off but can't really remember.
