Dished pistons allow 9-12psi boost on 96GT w/p&p PI's??

Ok, if I can't run a blower on my 96GT with the PI Heads I'm getting rid of them... I'm bullet-proofing the bottom end, so if I use dished-pistons will that get the compression down enough to be blower friendly for around 9psi to 12psi of boost? Or will the compression still be too high and leave me in danger of blowing myself up??

What comp ratio is safe?

What compression ratio is safe for that amount of boost? I would think 8.5:1 to 9:1 would be ok, but if these heads are going to raise the compression to almost 10:1(I think thats what I was told) can dished-pistons, alone, drop the compression that much to get back to 8.5:1 or 8.8:1??

17cc dished pistons will give you about 8.9:1. you can run 12 psi fine with that.
