How do you use the tool to compress the piston in a 4 wheel disk setup? Why does it twist to compress?

You must be talking about rear disc brakes it has to do with the workings of the Ebrake, not sure how it works though. I used a pair of needle nose pliers to turn my rear pistons whatta pain. turn clockwise till fully compressed, take the cap off resevoir(sp) this helps relieve some of the pressure.

That is for the rear only. I bought a tool like that and it was not wide enough to work on the Ford rear caliper piston. I made my own out of some scrap metal and an old socket so I could use a ratchet to turn it in.

Best bet would be to check with a place like Ford or Advanced auto and see if they have one that will definitely work with the Ford caliper.

I just changed my brakes last weekend...I used a pair of channel locks and twisted it until it went all the way in.

I just spent the coin for the REAL tool for $40 and used that.

The only way to go.

Mac is the brand I have.
