Dissapointing Results - Have I Missed Something?

I just got a call from Dyno-shop. The car has now 285 HP.

After the intitial Dyno-test (cf 1. post), we installed the following:

1. Scott Drake Tri-Y headers
2. Edelbrock Performer Air gap intake
3. Underdrive pulley
4. Went from 500 cfm to 600 cfm carburator
5. Replaced fuel filter

i am betting that most of the change came from the extra 100cfm carb. and i am also betting that with a little tuning that motor will be over 300hp.

I will post the report when I get it. Their printer was out of ink. The report showed 3 curves, the initial test (attached to 1.post), then a run with the new headers, intake and underdrive pulley, and a third curve with the new carb. This was from tuning, so I don't think one could tune more. I will upload the results as soon as I get the report.

Here is the report.
Grey curve= as it was (Hipo manifolds, 500cfm carb, performer intake)
Middle red = Underdrive pulley, RPM Airgam intake, Scott Drake Tri-Y headers added
Top red = 600 cfm carb

Looks like a good street engine. Pretty significant gains! I'm sure you can really tell seat of the pants that the car is faster.

Are you happy with it?

Yes, and I still have a very silent ride. You can only hear the wind when cruising in 60 mph!!
