The engine is getting finished up and I am buying a new distributor and starter. I am going to go with the following items below. I didn't want to have a box for the distributor and I wanted a mini starter for clearance on the exhaust headers. Any feedback on these items or any issues anyone is aware of for these? Thanks

How about this for a distributor, magnetic breaker, and vacuum advance/ or vac lockout plate(mechanical), and it's cheaper

That's the distributor I went with (haven't used yet, but for 351W) and the summit version of the starter you chose. On mallory's website it says their steel gears are appropriate for Flat Tappet and Roller cams, I haven't had a problem with their gears, and that's what came on my dual point 15 years ago.

And as far as the starter goes, let me know how it works out, at the rate I'm going my car won't be running for quite a while yet

I bought that starter. And returned it. I didn't like the way it fit. I had to clock it, as it hit the engine block the way it was. After I clocked it, there was very little contact between the starter gears and flywheel.
