I am about to change my distributor and wanted to know if is just a take it out and put it back in deal. I know I have to set the timing after I put it in, but wanted to know if they were any other steps.
i would get it to TDC (on the compression stroke) before removing it, to make the install easier. also make sure you have the correct gear on it - some have come with unfriendly gears...good luck.
