Am I supposed to keep that jumper wire on the dist harness hooked up if I am running a 9psi sc? I know it advances the timing when plugged in, and my buddy told me I shouldn't have any advancement of the timing with boost, which I understand the logic to, but I've never heard anything about unplugging that with a sc before. Is it tied into the computer beyond the timing? I bought and hooked up a msd 6al dig programmable and the map for it to pull timing with boost, but haven't been able to pull timing yet because of software/connection issues with msd. The engine totally cuts out when it makes boost, then returns on when the rpm drops. This happens when I have that jumper wire plugged in or not, but a little worse when its plugged in. It seems to have more power when plugged in tho. If I pull timing with the btm will this solve my problem?
