I KNOW there is a thread here, but for the life of me (maybe my spelling) I can't find the great thread on how to do the inline oil separator PCV mod (my own nickname for it). I really just need the pictures, I already have the parts and know how to put it all together... How'd you all mount it? How do you have the hoses running?

Thanks much,
Matt

Exactly what I'm doing!

Thanks for the links! I did know about the Steeda separator, but I figured I'd throw it together myself and save time waiting for parts to come in (I have a tune scheduled for Friday, and I can't be sucking oil through the intake then ).

Thanks much all!

Matt

speaking of TMI, Matt, you did not say which part you were doing - I misinterpreted what you meant at first and thought you had a laptop in the 'library'.

And for less than $20, you can make the same thing. Just go to your local harbor freight or tractor supply, and they will have everything you need.

how much of a difference does an oil separator make? Is it really worth it?

thanks!

totally depends upon each motor. if one has a decent amount of blow by, it can help. some folks catch a decent amount of oil in theirs.
