I have a 1991 Gt that has a sunroof. Is there something that says if it came with this? If it is aftermarket what do I do about headliner replacement?

i believe there is a website where you can enter your vin and it tells you all kinds of stuff about your car. not sure what it is but google holds the answer to everything. id look at stock fox sunroofs and if its the same one with the same latch id say its stock. as for headliners you can buy the material and cut it appropriately.

There was a sunroof option in 1991. A photo would confirm if yours is factory or not.

I'm pretty sure if it came from the factory there should be "C" somewhere in your VIN. If it looks like the factory one and you have no "C" in there then it could be a dealer option. I think mine is a dealer option.

Its not tied to the vin. It's tied to the door sticker. Of course many are missing, so a quick pic is just easier.

Biggest key is interior dome light

sunroof cars..it's between the visors. Non-sunroof and t-top cars...it's towards the center of the roof

I hope there was a Sunroof option in 92 because I have one sitting in my garage. I'll have to use that MustangGT.org website.

There has always been sunroof option on hatchbacks. 79-93

There were a few early years coupes had them too, 79-82 or something like that
