Do I NEED guidplates?

just to back up the others...pedestal mount heads do NOT need guideplates. If you had any idea what the pedestal mount stuff looked like, it would be obvious that the rocker cannot misalign itself with the valve. Some of you people need to know what you're talking about before giving an 'answer' to a question.
:nice: Glad you said it, I was fixing to after reading all the previous misinformation:Teh-Win: :D

Like the man said, if you knew ANYTHING about the differences between pedestal, stud and shaft rockers, he wouldn't have to show you. Out of the three, only stud mount rockers need guide plates. Pedestal and shaft mounts don't allow any side to side movement of the rocker, to let it slip off the valve tip. And like Dark Knight already posted, Where are you going to put em, with pedestal rockers? YOU,:stick: need to tell us why they're needed on pedestal and shaft rockers:D
