With lowering springs, you'll need new CC plates. Alignment shops need them to dial in the correct specs for a lowered car.

Full lengths subs are probably the most talked about suspension mod next to springs here. I can't wait to get mine in.

MM is quality stuff and I would just buy everything off their website. Some dealers might be able to cut them by 10%, so that would probably save you about $23X.XX.

Well, if you go to the Maximum Motorsports website (www.maximummotorsports.com), go to the online catalog and look under the packaged systems, they have what they call a "Launch Box". It has a bunch of goodies, but is even more pricey than the Road and Track package. Both of these are overkill in my opinion, unless you're into some serious hardcore competition. You can get a really nice, rigid suspension for about $1500 though: torque arm, lower rear control arms, full-length subframe connectors, good springs + CC plates, panhard bar, shocks/struts. Your car will ride really well and launch well with these. What else did I miss, anyone? Springs/struts/shocks and full-length subframes is a good place to start, and if you have any fabrication and welding skills at all, you can make a nice set of subframes for about $30.00 in materials. Go to the articles section and look up the homemade subframe connectors article by Paul Campbell. I made a set of these once before and it was a snap. In fact, I'm starting another set tonight for my new '95 vert, so I know the material price is accurate - I just bought the steel today.

From what I've heard the Maximum Motorsports C/C plates are a lot better than the Steeda ones, and they are about the same price. Plus they are a 4-bolt plate, not a 3-bolt plate like steeda. So if you want to switch to a front coil-over setup to save weight you will need 4-bolt plates. The Maximum Motorsports online catalog has prices listed for their torque arm and panhard bar. I believe the torque arm is about $450 and the panhard bar about $350. MM Adjustable Rear LCA's are about $380. I plan on getting those because they let you adjust your ride height.
