In another post I talked about how yesterday my car started running different,at idle its fine, when I start rolling and goin through the gears I can feel something like vibration in the floor mostly. Then when i start it up just as it fires up I can feel a clunk or thump in the floor but stops after it has started. The tranny was rebuilt last month along with a new clutch and resurfaced flywheel. All bolts are good and tight, tranny mount still looks good...I put 800 miles own it since, then the problem above started. So i decieded maybe motor mounts but to be honest I dunno what they look like when they are good or bad,So does this mount on the passenger side look bad or is this normal? This is looking at it from the tranny side.

i cant really tell.. ( i have this on a 6ft tall screen too lol) i would jack up your engine by the oil pan (with a 2X6 on the jack) just a little bit and it will be a dead giveaway if they are shot.. they shouldnt have any movement away from the rubber if that makes sence..

Well these pics are with the engine jacked up just the way you said,If i look down where the 90* angle is it look like the rubber is ripped,Id say when I jacked the motor it moved up about an inch maybe a lil more.Would motor mounts cause the probs Im having.I also forgot to add that when I accel it feels as if the car or motor is getting a binding feel to it,kinda like pulling the e brake a using the motors power to make the car move anyway.Thats the best I can describe it...hard to explain. The motor doesnt seem to rock much when I gas it under the hood, but if the passenger is the only bad one then the motor is torquing against it im guessing.Could this be making the clutch bind up or something similar to cause what i said above? This feeling starts the second the clutch starts to grab and does it through all gears becoming less noticable as i go up in gears.

True.Just trying to keep the cost to a minimum, actually trying to trade off but dont wanna hurt the value anymore than I can, trying for an 03 Mach,if that falls through then prob trade off for a different color,03-04 GT,hate this black. But still open for suggestions as to what this could be.

almost makes me wish i had never gotten a black car and i havent even had mine very long. on top of it being a black car the paint isnt in the best of shape so that's twice as hard to keep this thing looking nice. but all i can say is when a black car is clean it is freakin sexy

Your mounts are SHOT. I just replaced mine not too long ago.... Mine we so bad that the motor was sitting an 1inch causing major problems like my Oil Filter hitting my K-Member. You REALLY need to new mount. I just put in some Poly Mounts and i love em!!!

Thought so,but heres a lil more detail as to when the problem started,Before the weird feeling the car had probs stalling,so basiclly I got mad and pulled out of a parking lot onto the feeder road and laid into upto about 130mph then backed off, every since then Ive had the probs. The stalling I think is fixed with new plugs, just put new one in last year or so,but went ahead and through some more in,the guy at the parts store said that a couple were not in good shape.
