i got a cheap AFPR for my car, thumper, tmoss B-cam. its a mild combo nothing too radical at all. Will the stock pump and regulator work ok for my deal?? i will keep it around if i dont need it and use it later....

It wouldnt hurt to put it on either way. It gives you a way to tune your fuel flow and it dont matter if you have a stocker or a 10 second street car either way you have to have proper fuel pressure. Now just get you a fuel pressure guage and set it right where you want it.

I think AFPR's are an overrated mod. The EEC has an adaptive fuel strategy so any change in pressures at idle and part-throttle settings are adjusted via the fuel injector pulse width. It really only comes into play at WOT.

With that said, i run a Kirban AFPR..which i think is the best one out there
