do you feel bad after beating on your car?

i have never hit the rev limiter im my car untill last night, during a 2nd gear burnout......

I've done that before, but it was a rolling burnout and I was more focused on staying in my lane than watching the tach, and I bumped it real quick.

i've hit my rev limiter several times. the last one really scared me b/c it turned over 7K

That sure is spinning it high... Wouldn't sweat it much, your engine is damn near bomb proof.

I havent hit the limiter yet cause I have to shift at 5200 because of the MAF :(
*adds to "to do" list*

Have you ever had the car over 5200? If not, mother of God you will be speechless after it's fixed and you make a wide open pass from idle to redline...

Ive brought it to 6 grand two or three times before I found out about the MAF problem.

I stay on the rev limiter. I need a tuner bad. Bouncing off of it in first at 5800rpms, slight back fire from second to third at 5900. A nice shotgun back fire from third to fourth at 5900. Running smooth!!:nice: The old 96 loves the WOT with the engine upgrade. It went from grocery getter to LSI getter.

I've done half a donut like 3 times since I got my car. I've done a burnout once at the track, then I did a burnout once at the track. I've hit the revlimiter once in 3rd going down the track to see what mph it was at.
