Do you have to replace motor mounts when putting in a set of mac long tube headers???

Not that I have heard of, but being that you will have a clear shot to replace them while the old headers are off (if needed)... why not?

It's a VERY good idea if you have a higher mileage car! A buddy of mine with 65k on his gt didn't and boy was it a p.i.t.a. until we swapped his mounts the next day. Save yourself a big headache and buy a set, but be prepared to change your steering shaft to a flaming river design that does away with the rag-joint because most likely it'll rub pretty good...

I was told by a few people these headers fit with no modification. does anyone else see a problem getting these things in?

i didnt have a prob geting my bbk's in............but i did have to lift the motor up again before i could drive it cause lifting it the first time shot the $hit outta them.............I WAS PIST>

It's not that you have to, rather, sometimes you should. Although its rare, mounts sometimes wear out and sag. Thats what MAC tells a lot of people.
