All i Did, Was Take her to the Bar so she could pick up her mom... there Was A White 5.0 vert 93... Nice!!! It was Her aunts Boy Friends (Randy) he Got it a little bit b4 i Bought Mine.. i never Got the Chance to Look at it.. And he Hadnt Seen mine.. So i Figured that would be a Good time to Show off..

We have a stang meeting this weekend (just a little BBQ) and i doubt shes going... but she did go last time and i give her credit for hanging out as long as she did.

My wife is pretty good about it, she knows how much I love my car. She likes it too but could care less to go cruise the blvd or go to some of the local cruise ins with the other Mustang guys.

What she hates is the time and effort i put into it, and not spent with her though.

My girlfriend is proud of me and the work I do to my mustang so she is all for the mustang and my time spent on it (plus the attention my car gets). Although I will have to say she complains about exhaust (stock H and 3 chamber flows) and not having A/C. Can't wait till she hears the exhaust w/ the new H-pipe. In all my girlfriend appreciates my hobby for what it is and doesn't say anything/bash me for it.

my fiance does this to me. anytime i go hangout with my mustang buddies its text after text and call after call asking when im coming home. then the guilt trip that i spend more time on my car than i do with her.
ive invited her to come with countless times, my buddies girlfriends are there most of the time so its not like shed be the only girl either.

The only chick I've ever met that doesn't get all put off when I start fantasizing aloud about things like my dreams of having the budget to go dropping in a fully-built H/C/I setup, beefing up the rear suspension/chassis, and fully stripping the interior of my notch. In fact, I dare say she becomes a might bit turned on by that sort of thing...

Example: Last night I was going through back issues of mustang mags... and I just happened to run across someones car from Stangnet, I get all exicted, and show the wife and tell her "hey, thats a guy i talk to on that mustang forum."

She rolls her eyes, looks at me like "and then...???" and continues watching Greys Anatomy.

Talk about frustrating..

Anywho, It was February 2005 issue (5.0's i think) , and i ran across MansonOzz's vert.. I was all excited and proud to talk to a guy on here thats been featured in so many mustang mags.... leave it to the wife to be a buzzkill

Moral of the story... any of you guys that have spouses / girlfriends / significant others that are into the Mustang hobby, DONT TAKE THEM FOR GRANTED!!!!

I love my GF and I am like AliateX, I am the man in the relationship and thats how it stays. The things that annoy the**** outta me are when she tells me I can't hangut with cwertain friends. Hell we have been going out for 4 months and I haven't had even two seconds with another friend w/o her bitching at me and makin sure I ain't drinkin or doing drugs

For instance I am meeting slow95 and BK cauley at the track tomorrow and I was gonna bring my friend doug to video tape and have some guy time on the way down there, pickup some black and milds and cruise like old times, but nooooo. I see Doug in the parking lot after school and he rides past and said he'd call me bout tomorrow. A soon as she heard this she flipped and walked faster away from me and told me to find my own ride home and that I shouldn't be hanging out with kids like him... Well she lt me ride anyway and I was like FINE he doesn't have to go, and thenshe turns it and is like no I am tired of trying to control you (Me too!!) he is going. I said you just said 2 sec. ago that if he went you would be pissed, and she was like either way I am pissed.
