So this is what's I've done to my stang(I got another project to do that's going to take most of my money. I'll mention this project later on).
It's not much, but it's something.

I bought this decals for my tail lights(I'm gonna see how much it costs, but I plan on actually having it painted on). I like how it looks different compared to other stangs.

Close-up of the decal

I also had chrome license plate covers on my stang, but they got all messed up, thanks to Chicago winters. So I sanded them, cleaned them with acetone, and then I spray painted them with a high heat flat black paint. Then I toasted them on the baroque with a blow torch (fun)!

Front

Back

This is how it originally looked like. (Sorry I had all before and after pictures but this stupid bytch named Jeanette erased them. This is the best I could do.)

So this is what it looks like now.

__________________________________________________________
And this is other stuff that I did to my stang:

Shorty Antenna (Cheap kind for Murray's. Paid $4.99 for it. It works ok, but it's going to be replaced by the end of summer.)

Sound System (I got a good deal on the sub and the amp because a Tweeters was closing down and they were having huge sales on all their stuff. So I took advantage of the opernatunity and bought them. I built the sub box, twice because I got the measurements wrong. The box is covered in black vinyl.)

Ok, tell me you opinions.

The taillight decals look great, I like that and I don't think that i've ever seen it on another stang before, so good job with that one. The black chain plates are kinda cool, might look a little better later on after you get it lookin/soundin tough. The JBL sub... EH, whatever floats you boat, tikkles your pickle and so on, samething with the shorty antenna... looks kinda goofey and chubby.

I'd go with a more expensive antenna, like from www.v6mustangstuff.com and then since you have a yellow/black thing going, i'd go with a set of 17x9 black bullit rims with a chrome lip for the front and then a set of 18x10 deep dish black bullits with a chrome lip for the rear... that would be leg hump worthy then hook it up with engine modds etc. you know what to do, but yeah stang looks good. Oh, and so does your ass. I mean... ummm.... I gotta go to the bathroom.

Ya, I really don't like the antenna that I have. I only bought it because I didn't like the stock one and it was $4.99. So, I lot $5.00. I might go with the billet antenna or I just might get the delete kit for it. I like the black bullits(the only way to go with them is deep dish) but I think they're way to common on stangs. So I'm thinking of the 10th anniversy cobra's. If not I got some rims that I saw online that looks nice, but I need to see them in person before I decide. I like how my sub sounds like. It makes driving more fun(yes, I know mods to my engine would make driving even MORE FUN!). I plan on modding the stang's engine but I got another project right now that's going to take up alot of my time and money so I'll only be able to do small mods on her(like sway bars, pullys, ect).

True, I like those 10th Anniv. Cobras, they're pretty badass. I wasn't doggin your sub, just sayin that you should go with a Solo Baric L7. Pulleys would be one of my first modds, them and a t-lok... maybe a shifter. Yours is 5spd right?

No, I'm not an auto(I know, I know) I've been thinking of the T lok but I'm not sure how they would handle in the snow. I think it would be better since both wheels spin but I heard that it's actually worse. I can't win.

I'm not really good with ummm...electrical stuff(or pretty much anything else) so my friend helped me install the sub alot and he said that that sub was good for the money. I don't listen to music really loud, so it helps with the sound increase. Now I just gotta mount it down.

Autos = I would think it would help you in the winter 'cause you'll have better traction. The sub looks good, i'm just pickey I guess. I listen to music VERY LOUD on the other hand. MUSIC

Get a Cobra R antenna delete from performancepartsinc.com.

Get a 35th Anniversary rear applique or get a vinyl shop to make it out of black vinyl.

Get rid of the license plate frames.

My opinion.

the decals are pretty original i personally wouldnt spend the money to get them painted on when the decals look just fine. also that is a JL audio sub worked v6 not JBL(BIIIIG DIFFERENCE ) i like the stuff jl makes but its just so expensive(except u got a deal) i have an audiobahn 12" sub(1100watts rms) and amp(1200 watts rms) and i love em. pics of my old set up are on my cardomain page but ive changed it back to one sub since then. to hold the sub box in place i set it in between the 2 rear speakers and pulled a bungie chord around the side facing the rear and hooked it onto 2 holes on each side of the sub right behind the trunk lid, if that doesnt make sense ill try to get some pics for u when i get back from vacation, but it holds it in there great. ill try to get some night pics too(wish i had with the old setup) cause the amp glows blue flames and i have a blue neon wired in place of the trunk light that lights up the trunk when its popped.

Sorry, I'm not an audio guy. I heard that audiobahn is a good company. I think I have a slight idea what your talking about the bungie cord, but I think I'll need to see those pics. Right now my sister's been learning to drive in the stang so she was able to move it all the way to the right side of the trunk, and pull the ground out. I've been driving with it for almost 2 months and it's never became undone with my driving.
I like how you old sytem looked. Show quality. I just couldn't really give up my trunk space. How load did that system get up to?

Thanks everyone for the comments, good and bad. Keep'em coming.

Yeah i do like the taillights, I like that color scheme you have with yellow and black trim going on. i've always liked yellow and black on stangs. The chain plate is ok, not knock'n it. I think a different design of plate would look awesome though but keep it black. Keep it coming!

Thanks for all the comments everyone. I appreciated it. I plan on adding true duels to my stang but, it now looks that that has been bumped to next year, when I have more money available. I've been thinking about going with the side exhausts. The chain plate is very common here. I got it at murray's when I first got my stang. It was the only one I liked and it was chrome. It looked good, but then Chicago winter came and it looked like crap. I don't want to spend more money and crap like that so I painted them. I think it looks good against the yellow.

I bet it sucked in Maine during the winter. Actually, my stang was buried in 10-12 inches of snow last year on my driveway. It sucks driving it too, but I manage.

Do what? Put ice on it? lol I guess your talking about the decals on the tail light. I bought mine off of ebay and just to let you know, they won't fit. You're going to have to cut out a section inorder for them to fit properly.
