Do you really need your rear swaybar?

I had a really bad rattle coming from under the right side of the rear seat for the past couple days. Well I jacked up the car and found that the rear sway bar was broken clean through where it mounts onto the lower control arm. Took it off and no more rattle. The car rides the same, I took it through turns and I dont notice any more lean than before. I was just wondering is it that necessary to have one?

maybe if you do pure drag racing and nothing else you can do without it. but if when you drive your stang and you turn your wheel, then ya it might be a good idea to leave it on. you may not notice it piddling around town, but if you drive it hard through a canyon or twisty road you will meet my little friend understeer.

Now is your chance to buy some nicer-than-stock ones. I noticed a lot of difference even from the stock ones. The car is sooooooo much tighter around turns. It feels much more stable.

Ever sit in your car when its not moving and sway really hard side to side to get the car shaking? Since I upgraded my suspension, that doesn't even happen at all. Give that a try in your car.

LoL, yeah, someone on here posted a link to that guys car domain page and we all started reaming him for his stupid waste of time car and lame ass website. He started signing my guest book and I just stopped caring. Drop him a line though, I'm sure the "V8 Killa" would like some additional input. Apparently he smokes V8's all time...

Sadly he's not joking, and since he has removed his guest book (too much negative feedback i guess). He must have the fastest car in South Dakota.
