I sould have my engine done by the end of this week.
347
10 to 1 comp.
victor jr heads (stock)
victor jr intake (stock)
custome solid flat tap cam (not sure on the specs) I believe around 610 lift with a 240 duration at .050
BG 750 race demon carb
tremec 5 speed
9" shortend rear, detroit locker with 4.10's
caltrac bars, rancho shocks
NX hitman kit
The body is a 1966 couple with full interior. I hoping to get low 11's high 10's with a 100 shot. Do you think this set up will get me there.

It has a late model block, I would like to stay N/A since I know I might be pushing it with the nitrous. Would a 100 shot be ok? It has an Isky Cam

Depends on how stout your build is, if you are 475+HP NA then the 100 shot may push your block over the edge. My car will run low 11's all day long NA and I wouldn't even think about spraying it..... My heads / intake are ported / port matched...

Low 11s might be pushing it.

That setup will probably get you around 400/400 rwhp/tq depending on the valve event timings. Maybe peakier?
So depending on how you hook up, mid 11s should be attainable.

But like washMO said, you are at the limits of the late model block or really any 302 block. The next step up would be a sportsman (IMO a waste new), the mexican and then you get into serious money with the R and possibly the A4.

I wouldn't spray it unless you have more blocks sitting around.
The only thing girdles will do at this point is keep all of your broken pieces together.

I was running 11.28 with;

stock block
10.8:1 compression
347ci
KB hypers
afr 185's ported and polished
vic jr (ported & portmatched)
mighty demon 650
XE274HR CAM
3:73's
2500 stall
5 leaf rear suspension
full weight car
Footbraking
slicks

My set up has changed slightly (CAM/stall/brake) but has yet to be proven at the track. Every build is different as is every car's set up so it is hard to say but my advice would be to watch the spray.

I know someone will chime in and say that they know someone that has been spraying a stock block for blah blah blah and they are right, but that doesn't mean your WON'T frag first time you squirt it.
