I do. I usually only wave at GT's that I can tell are modded, but I don't always get a wave back.

Yeah, a good bit. Usually the ones driven by middle aged men or women dont get a response, but occasionally even they do... haha.

More common for me is a blip of the throttle though. Ive passed at least 2 or 3 Stangs on the road and dropped it down a gear or revved it up so they know another enthusiast is beside them, haha. Usually gets a pretty good response.

I wave to a few. No V6's or stock-looking gt verts, usually they don't care anyhoo. Typically I get wavebacks from Saleens, Roushes (seems like usually mid-life guys), Machs and Cobras. My girlfriends grandfather has a 97 Cobra drop top, and I had actually waved to him before I knew it was her grandad lol...

If I see anyone in a parking lot or anything, and I notice they have some mods, I'll wave at them or hollar hout being friendly.

Usually try to wave, especially if the car looks to be modded.

Usually get a bewildered looking response and the occasional wave back. Mostly girls will smile and wave back though

Yeah I'm also guilty of dropping a gear. I just did the mach 1 delete and I usually roll with parking lights and fogs so other enthusiasts usually see that now. And of course there's always the look and the "I-recognize-you-also-have-a-fast-car" nod from:
Vette owners
F bodies
Cobras
STi's, Evo's
etc. Also a lot of ricers give me the look, but.. nah.

I usually wave or rev it up. Most wave back or rev it up, but some of the asshats just stare at me like they're too cool for anyone.

However, older people in corvettes and cobras usually speak at stoplights.. That's always a nice feeling, getting your car complimented by somebody who knows that their car is faster

Wow, I thought waving was Jeep thing! I wave all the time at fellow Jeepers and it gets returned. No need for the Stang guys to copy. Do something different like the rev.

Definitely. I got complimented by a guy in a new C6 at a light last week.

I always wave no matter what kind of Mustang it is.... I dont discriminate. But most of the time, I just get goofy looks. My wife always gives me crap about it. She just doesnt understand.

I do get waves back sometimes. However, come to think of it.... I am always the one to ENGAGE the wave. Hmmm.... maybe my wife is right.

Being a Jeeper and a Mustanger... Im pretty sure the Jeep wave is still more popular. Seriously, its like a brotherhood between Jeepers.

I'll agree with you there. One of my best friends drives a YJ Wrangler. He practically hangs out the side on the wave, lol.

I feel left out, the only guys that are doing the "waving" are the bikers to bikers.

I seriously can't remember the last time I got a wave from another Mustang owner. Years ago. I quit waving a year or so ago. Never got a wave back. I can pull up to another Mustang at a stoplight and the owner just stares straight ahead. So anymore if I see a GT or above coming from the oppsite direction I may gun it or drop down a gear if I feel jumpy. Otherwise I just ignore them. I think too many mainstream people are buying Mustangs and just drive them. They could'nt care less about the heritage.

Agreed. Never really got much of a response out of Mustang owners. Totally different from the Jeep crowd. My daily driver is a lifted Jeep Wrangler TJ. If you pass a Jeep and don't waive, its like a mortal sin. I have to say for the most part the Jeep crowd is much more friendly and down to earth.
