I have seen a DSS girdle fit a stock oil pan on a Fox..

The Trick Flow girdle that comes with longer bolts instead of studs will NOT fit a stock Fox pan

Pretty sure our pan is identical to a Fox. Will check tomorrow, I have my stock pan and the stocker from the LX motor I'm replacing it with (part of my #8 rod exited the side of my stock oil pan and broke my starter )

i would actually buy a new oil pan. don't cost that much and you get a 7-quart not the stock 5-quart. it's worth it in the end IMO

Been there done that couldn't afford oil pan so I just went with the stock pan. I have a DSS girdle and the stock pan only needed to be clearanced slightly, and this was because of the main studs. I just marked the spot and dented the pan out where the studs hit.

OK, the pans are identical in shape. What we couldn't get to fit on the TFS kit was the oil pickup, there was no way...

Next up, tomorrow we find out if ARP studs with no girdle will clear a stock oil pan

They should, the ARP studs for a girdle are longer than stockers...

Bolted my pan on tonight.. No interference from the ARP studs at all. Again, though, they are designed for no windage tray or girdle at all.

If the girdle you have has longer ARP bolts and not true studs I'd bet it's the trick flow setup that won't clear a stock pan. What we fought like I said was the oil pickup. We couldn't get it bolted in in a way that kept it low enough to clear the pan. We didn't try hammering on the pan, though, he simply switched to a Canton.

Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
