Chances are slim...

Chances are slim, since there isn't that much breaking traction with the 2.3. The easiest way to tell is to look at the tag on the axle, or check the door tag. The axle tag will read "3L45" if it's posi "3 45" if it's open. The numbers of course are the gear ratio.

No locking rear in those 4 cyl. Mine has one, only b/c I put it in myself. I have finally parked my car for a while so I'm parting my whole car out......

I think the only limited slip 7.5's were in early Fox V8 cars and the Aerostar, Ranger, BroncoII line. all as an option not standard equipment.

It's possible. My 82 car was originally a straight six, non ac car, and it came stock with a 7.5 inch, 2.73 Traction Loc, that is now in my 79. Works great.
